Hello! My name is Sarah.

I live in Corsley Heath, the border of Wiltshire and Somerset. In January 2022, I suffered a catastrophic stroke, which has left me with aphasia, apraxia and epilepsy. Before the stroke I was very active. I liked triathlon and have completed two half Ironman. Since the stroke I have difficulty talking, reading and writing. Painting began as part of my rehabilitation. I found it to be relaxing, therapeutic and stimulating. Painting is my new love and it gives me great pleasure.

My painting is inspired by living in the countryside. Flowers, trees, the woods, simple things and the passing of the seasons.

I live with my husband and our two dogs, a terrier and a border collie. Usually I walk in the wood or the fields, we live very near to the woods.

My cards are sold in local shops in Wiltshire & Somerset.
